With ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½â€™s M.Ed. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), you’ll gain the skills to help multilingual learners thrive. Emergent bilinguals are the fastest-growing student population in Rhode Island, fueling the need for educators certified in TESOL. Our program prepares you to teach students of all ages in TESOL and dual language classrooms, with an optional concentration in bilingual education for those seeking specialized expertise.

The MED programs accept applications until March 1 for Fall admission and until November 1 for Spring admission. Students are allowed to take up to two courses as Non-Degree Students prior to matriculating into a program.
