The Master of Arts in biology program enables students to broaden and deepen their knowledge of biology and engage in independent research and data analysis. Students in this program will design and execute an original field-based or laboratory-based research project.

We'll teach you to conduct literature searches on timely biological topics, evaluate and synthesize primary source materials and develop the advanced scientific writing and oral communication skills necessary to interact effectively with fellow scientists in the professional arena.

Applications to the program are due March 1 for fall admission or November 1 for spring admission. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered if space is still available in the program.
